OnTrack is built for engineering and construction delivery — managing drawings, disciplines, departments, and submission/approval cycles, not generic software tickets.

Does it use drawing references and revisions?

Yes. Each task can be linked to a specific drawing reference and revision, so your team always knows exactly which version is under review.

Can I see delivery risk on a schedule?

OnTrack flags overdue and at-risk items on the schedule view so you can intervene before a delay becomes a problem.

Approvals & Workflow

How does the approval process work?

Submissions move through a configurable review chain. Each reviewer receives a notification, can comment, approve, or reject, and the status updates in real time for all stakeholders.

What happens when an approval is rejected?

The submission is returned with reviewer comments and a revision request. The assigned engineer is notified and can resubmit once changes are made.

Time Tracking

How does time tracking work in OnTrack?

Team members log time directly against tasks. Managers see real-time burn rate per discipline, making it easy to spot resourcing issues early.

Can I track time per task or project?

Both. Time is captured at the task level and automatically rolled up to project and discipline totals, so you have granular and summary views simultaneously.

Are time logs exportable?

Yes. Time logs can be exported per project, user, or date range in CSV format for payroll, billing, or reporting purposes.
